Eckert specializes in IQF processing of USDA Grade A standard field peppers, including bells, sweet and hot jalapeños, poblanos and anaheims. We also produce diced cabbage and cabbage leaves. Today Eckert is the largest supplier of IQF frozen bell peppers in the world.

Eckert also utilizes a unique fire roasting process for bell peppers. Unlike the industry standard of slightly burning the outside of the pepper skin just long enough to create a char mark, we open up our bell peppers first. That way the open flames come in contact with all sides of the pepper pieces, not just the outer skin. This creates a deeper, more flavorful roasted product.
