Studies have found that frozen vegetables are often more nutritious than so-called “fresh” supermarket produce. Fresh vegetables can lose up to 45 percent of important nutrients by the time they reach the end user. At Eckert we flash-freeze our fruit at the peak of freshness to ensure the fruit’s flavor and freshness are locked in. We carefully select our grower partners, ensuring a safe and wholesome product.

All of our processing plants operate under strict BRC guidelines (British Retail Consortium), which is a globally recognized standard for food safety. We have a field department that audits all of our growing fields from seed to harvest to ensure compliance with the latest GAPs (Good Agricultural Practices) and food safety standards.
